Okay for all you automotive artists and car guys who own businesses, sometimes you need an advocate on your side who understands what the gig is all about. Go here www.motorvating.com and find out how to survive not only your business, but yourself too. Time to get yo hiney MOTORVATING!
If you reside around Southwest Missouri (misery) and need customizing, a hot rod built, nice paint job, collision work, flames, lowering, whatever, Johnny can do it. And if you want some personal touches, my neph, Shaun, can lay down some stripes on that boring car of yours.
A great place for coverage of car shows, for sale section, hot rod news, and other essentials to live a long happy life. Keep this on your favs.
Auto Worx - Rene and his crew do excellent collision/paint & body work. I've known Rene for over 15 years and he is friendly, honest and dependable. Always tries to satisfy the customers' needs. And they do custom work too. Need some cool airbrushing? Ask for Phil. Mikey stripes there too.

The Georges - A band...really?!!!
My son, Cody, and his cousins' band plays oldies, Beatles, 60's, rockabilly and just basically screamin' riffs. Writes their own music. Good and loud. I've known these kids since they were born and seems they always had songs (and other deviant skills) in their big heads. Hope the music doesn't shrink their brains. They just finished my Mikey Did it Pinstriping song.
Crew:
Jason-loudness - "Huh uh, I'm stuck on me!"
Jacob-lead geetar -"Uhh, like I got a kid now and need cash"
Lance-drummerboi-"My wallet chains longer than my dog leash!"
Cody-bassin' boy -"Can I sang a song!?"
South Texas Car Club - A group of oldies but goodies who do all the good for us car guys. Despite age, illnesses and many setbacks, they hold car shows throughout the year and contribute lot's o'money to wonderful causes. I've worked with these guys for years and can honeslty say, they are among the best when it comes to helping people before helping themselves.
Motor Austin - So I'm looking at car shows on the net and found this neato website that promotes car stuff for sicko car guys here in central Texas. I perused the pages and was likin' what I sees. One thing that caught my eye was they have a page for businesses. Now I'm not one to ask to be listed but in this case i dropped on my knees. I emailed them and asked about listing my website. Man talk about burnin' rubber before the fuzzz!! They already had it posted before I woke up. Don't know them personally, but what nice bunch of carnuts. Thanks Motor Austin.
Kikin Street Rods - Located in beautiful Lampassas, Tx, these hot rod cats can build what you want at a reasonable price. They sell quality parts, do framework, paint and everything under the hot rod heaven. I do striping for them and everytime I go up there, even though they are very busy, always have time to listen to my insanity. A successful family operation. Oh, one other thing, watch out for their celebrity painter Kerry. He loves to sniff old paint fumes and goes crazy everytime he sees a camera.
Laredo Outsiders- I love these guys (not that there's anything wrong wit dat) They're a group of supa nice club members who has welcomed us at their shows with open arms. And talk about a show. WOW! These guys know how to PARTY!! Although this years' show, '09, was hotter-n-flames on the devils arse, we still had friendly people allowing me to stripe their rides. If you want to go to a rowdy show where even a funky white guy like me feels welcome, head down to Laredo in April. You'll be glad you did. You'll get a kick outta Mark's mopar powered Chevy rat rod truck. He put a slant-6 in that rusty thang. It goes!! I figure since he works on the border, he picks up spare parts that are tossed across.
The Luther Store - My long time friend and all around cool guy, Cory Moore of Austin Speed Shop fame, has gone and done it again. He's opened a joint for all you kustom stylistics. Located on south Congress in Austin Texas (where else!?). Grab yo hot rod or custom tripper and go there. NOW!
Austin Speed Shop - Known to insiders as A.S.S. I remember Cory talking about opening a hot rod shop when I first did some pinstriping for him 15 years ago or so. Uh, yeah, right. "In Austin? You must be crazy. No one here does that!" Man, was I the idiot! Cory and some pals opened this jewel a few years ago. What was just a dream has now turned into a rubber burning success. They can do anything except install a four set of 28's and lift kits for dippers. Whatever ails ya, A.S.S. has the ointment.
Some good ol boys from the lil' ol town of Seguin who build some HOT hot rods. Bryant, Ronnie (the little guy) and all da guy's do everything from burn-out kings to boulevard cruisers. If you want a car done get in line because the lights are turning green. Tell' em Mikey sent ya.
